Does your business need to have a website? - 15th May 2017
Maybe not, a web presence can be enough for many businesses. It could be a website,
but it could also be a Facebook business page, a Google business page, an eBay shop or something else.
You might even have more than one web presence. I have a website, a Facebook Page, a Google business Page, a Google+ page and a LinkedIn business page.
Ok, so some businesses may need a website, if you sell online you might have an e-commerce site,
but you can still sell online without a website. Your web presence might be an eBay shop or other similar e-commerce service.
ome types of web presence may not suit your business. A LinkedIn business page would not be suitable for say a shop, a plumber,
an electrician or similar small business. For many small businesses, a web presence will be enough.
All you might need is a web presence to advertise your services, display your contact details,
show your opening times and maybe show your location.

So, before you jump in and spend a lot of money on a website you might not need,
why not investigate if an alternative web presence will be enough for your business.
If you’re not sure, ask for advice.
